everything is EVERYTHING

When we break things down simply in the matters of energy and frequency we are able to find comfort and understand that when relationships “leave” us it is not because anything is wrong with us- it is simply because the vibrations no longer serve us or never matched in the first place. This is the same case with all match-making processes- jobs, roommates, business partners, collaborations, collectives, a new city, a new home, old boos, old friends. THE UNIVERSE ALWAYS HAS OUR BACK. THIS IS LAW, simply. The moments when things feel uncertain and frustrating comes from a lag effect of our abilities to continue to TRUST AND STAY OPEN. And in those moments we are caught up in our questioning, in our grief, in our loss, in our transitions– know that this is the universe’s ways of training us to TRUST MORE and simply get out of our own ways.

I am remembering moments of self-blame, ladder-climbing for the sake of family honor and the basic need to take care of self each day. Indeed we still have great agency over our debts, over our worries, over our futurepresents- WE ARE larger than all of these oppressives… but it is important to remember we live in a moment where so much of our daily strife was created in large part by systemic greed, gluttony, power.. aka imperialism– much of which the violent truth of it has barely been told. let’s be gentle with how we approach tackling this death, this transition on all tiny and epic scales, especially with ourselves. Each breath we take in this pivotal moment, we give back to what was taken from our true cooperative legacies. Seed by seed, we birth a new world. #ofthisearth

Recently I decided that whenever I meet someone, I should introduce myself as “Water.” Think of it: our brains are about 90 percent water, our bodies about 68 percent. Not even Waterman, simply Water: it makes people curious, they say, “pardon?” and I say again “Water.”
This immediately starts a conversation and creates an awareness about it. This new name conveys my deep concern about water.[1]

Daily Self-Love Practice #4 By Me: Intrinsically we are all unconditional love regardless of how we choose to see ourselves– but affirming this must mean You Must Set your own value– everyone else will mirror this for you depending on how firm (or soft) you are with your worth.

creativity keeps the world alive, yet, everyday we are asked to be ashamed of honoring it, wanting to live our lives as artists. i’ve carried the shame of being a ‘creative’ since i came to the planet; have been asked to be something different, more, less my whole life. thank spirit, my wisdom is deeper than my shame, and i listened to who i was. i want to say to all the creatives who have been taught to believe who you are is not enough for this world, taught that a life of art will amount to nothing, know that who we are, and what we do is life. when we create, we are creating the world. remember this, and commit.
